14.6.2010: Find a case study No. 377 from Central Asia. It is about knowledge sharing system established in Central Asia to enhance application of IWRM.

15.4.2010: A new case study No 370 is one of the results of activities of GWP Central and Eastern Europe and deals with facilitation of IWRM processes through organizing national dialogues. Look for this case study also under tools B1.2, C2.2 and C4.2.
13.4.2010: Visit tools C6.1 and C7.2 and look for a new book Sick Water? It was developed by UNEP/UN-HABITAT and regards issues of water polution. Direct link here.
8.4.2010: A new case study No. 368 from South America is now available (English and Spanish versions). It was shared by GWP partner - GroundWater MATE (a program of the World Bank). The case deals with management of groundwater (see also a tool C2.3).
8.3.2010: A new case study No. 358 from Swaziland (Southern Africa) is now available. It documents how IWRM tools (mainly C4.2-C4.3, B2.1) were applied at local level. The KaLanga project was carried out by Swaziland Water Partnership as a part of the national IWRM planning process under the Partnership for Africa`s Water Development Progamme.
1.3.2010: The Southern Africa Water Partnership published a report: Institutional Linakages in Local level IWRM (see under tool B1.9-B1.10).
23.2.2010: Read a new case study No. 366 from Eritrea. It shows a role of Eritrean Country Water Partnership in facilitation of the IWRM planning process. It relates to tools A1.2, C2.1 and B2.3.
16.2.2010: A new case study from Lake Chad (Central Africa) No. 365 is now available on the ToolBox web site. It addresses difficulties in implementing IWRM in transboundary context. The case refers to tool B1.2.
8.2.2010: A new case study from Slovakia (#367) is now available on the ToolBox web site. It illustrates that while policy is made at national level (transposition of EU environment-related legislation), implementation takes place at local levels - where tools are not well understood. The case refers to tool C6.4.
26.1.2010: Several new reference documents regarding groundwater are now available at this web site. The publications were developed by Ground Water - MATE team that develops capacities in ground water resources management. The documents are placed under tool C2.3.
