Extreme heat and drought typical of an end-of-century climate could occur over Europe soon and repeatedly

The development of a national model that predicts land subsidence, due to uncontrolled mining and the collapse of aquifers, due to no rain, will require more studies and data on climate and land use. To combat desertification and drought, in Latin America, an agricultural census is a necessity, not an option.(S.megens 2023)
